Med över 30 program, på 5 scener i Malmö, under 3 dagar, förändrar vi villkoren för vem som har rätt att göra sin röst hörd. Var med när det händer! Det här är din plats!

Malmö II Community Biennial “Our Common Ground”

Malmö II Community Biennal interrogates the idea of “common ground” by asking: Is there still a place, a starting point, that is all of ours? If so, what rules apply there? Who designates and presides over it? Using community culture as a method, this year’s biennial considers what it is to belong to, and seeks to carve out a new “folk” space for our current moment.

The event offers a mix of experiences, including workshops, interactive performances, discussions and installations, led by members of the CKC network and citizens from all across society. Emphasis in the program is placed on collaborations / dialogues between professional and non-professional artists.

There will also be a special focus on young people’s right to opportunities for co-creation in the cultural landscape: as contributors, makers and visionaries. An all-day “youth summit” will take place on Sunday, November 28.

All events are free of charge and open to all, subject to venue capacity.

Participants will include Kajsa Ravin, Skånes Dansteater, PAYK, Shako Mako Kultur, François Matarasso, Sundsgårdens Teaterlinje, Niels Righolt, Drömmarnas Hus, Rafaela Stålbalk Klose, Livet Bitch!, Teater Interakt, Memory Wax & Danza Teatro Retazos, Linda Zachrison, Teaterhögskolan Malmö, Wotever Malmö, Ofelia Jarl Ortega, Malmös Samlade Röster, Malmö Stadsteater, Yénika Castillo, Bombina Bombast, Berättergruppen Ägir, HORSE, Förnyelselabbet, Unga CKC and more to come.
